Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum
The mission statement of the Old West Museum states: “The Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum preserves, promotes, and perpetuates the history and meaning of the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ celebration and the history, values, and culture of the American West.”


The Wyoming State Museum
Featuring many exhibits and a “Hands on History” room, the Wyoming State Museum site offers museum hours, resources for teachers, and Wyoming state trivia.


The Wyoming Dinosaur Center
The Wyoming Dinosaur Center located in north-central Wyoming is known for some of the largest dinosaur fossil quarries in the world. The Web site provides a vast amount of information on paleontology, how to find and excavate dinosaur material, and even ways for You to join in a dinosaur dig!



Wyoming Territorial Prison and Old West Park
This park features the restored Wyoming Territorial Prison. Additionally, The U.S. Marshals Museum, free stagecoach rides, and a dinner theater make this park both educational and entertaining!



Buffalo Bill Historical Center
The Buffalo Bill Historical Center, through its vast collections, interprets the experiences of the American West. The web site is not as good as the real thing, but close.
